剧情简介:口交剧情:InvisibilitywasthedestinyofCavallone’snextfilms.ShotinSummer1979andreleasedinMay’80,BlowJob–Soffioerotico(1980:onceagainaWarholiantitle,eventhoughtheoriginalwassupposedtobeLastreganuda/TheNakedWitch)wasanextremelyrushedproduction14.ShootingoriginallyhadtotakeplaceentirelyinavillanearRiolo,inNorth-EastItaly,nearthecityofFaenza15.Butafteroneoftheproducerscommittedsuicideduringfilming,Cavallonehadtoradicallyrethinktheproject,ashesuddenlyfoundhimselfwithnomoneyatall.Theextremepovertyshowsthroughoutthefilm,andit’ssadtoseehowthedirectorhadtoworkvirtuallywithnothing.Yettheresultisstrangelyfascinating.Technically,BlowJobishardcoreporn,sinceitdoesfeatureseveralexplicitsexscenes.Nevertheless,itistheclosestCavallonecametomakeagothichorrormovie:attimes,italmostlookslikeathinkingman’sversionofaLuigiBatzellafilm(thinkofNudaperSatana,1974,forinstance).Itscomplex,Escherianplotdeservesadetailedsummary. Theopeningsequenceistrulyunsettlinginitself:thefirstimagesshowtheparkofaluxuriousvilla,withseculartreesunderarainstorm,thenasubjectivecameraentersasqualidhotelhall,accompaniedbyagloomymusic,likeasortofmalevolent,eeriepresent:thefilm’stwomainsettingsareintroducedandshownasstrictlycomplementary–ahintatwhatwillfollow.Cuttoanakedcoupleinaroom:actorsStefanoVicinelli(DaniloMicheli)andDiana(AnnaMassarelli)don’thavethemoneytopaythebill.Withanembarassedphonecall,thehotelclerkasksthemtopaythehotelfeeandleave.Meanwhile,upstairs,awomanismenacedbysomeoneorsomethingunseen.Shescreamsandcriesforhelp,thenjumpsoutofthewindow.TheaftermathofherfalllookslikeanouttakefromJoeD’Amatofilm,withintestinesspilledalloverthepavement.("Hey,"Stefanosays,"itlookslikesomebodythrewabowlofspaghettiupsidedown!").StefanoandDianatakeadvantageoftheensuingchaosandleave.Ataracetrack,Stefanomeetsascarredwomaninherforties,Angela(AnnaBrunaCazzato),whohelpshimpickawinninghorse,andinreturnasksthemaridetohervillainthecountryside:shewantsDariotohelpher"passthegate".Duringthetriptheymeetatrioofsurrealcharacters,whileStefanoglimpses–andit’sanimpressive,eeriemoment–abikerwhoseheadlookslikeaskull.Atthevilla,asinister-looking,equallyscarredbutler,Alphonse(ValerioIsidori16)awaitsthem.Then,evenstrangerthingsensue.AngelaputsaspellonDiana,whogetsinexplicablyill;Stefanogoeslookingforadoctorandmeetsayoung,beautifulwomannamedSibilla(MirellaVenturini),whogiveshimamagicpowdertocureDiana.BlowJob’ssecondhalfconveysaweirddreamlikequality.AngelaandDianaleaveStefanoaloneinthevillaandleaveforaball:inthemiddleofthenightSibillacomesoutofamirrorandtakesStefanotoacave,whereshehypnotizeshimandtheymakeslove.Cavallonewasespeciallyproudofthesequence,especiallythe360°shotsfollowingSibillaasshemovesincirclesaroundtheman,likeapredator. Anotherbeautiful,eeriemomentisthescenewhereStefano,inpitchblackdarkness,findshimselfsurroundedbyagroupofoldmencarryingcandleswhostartwaltzingaroundhim;whenlightsturnon,aballisrevealedtobetakingplaceinthevilla’shugesalon:thedancers–manyofwhomweargrotesquemasks–arereflectedonmirrorsalloverawallandAlphonseoperatesabull’seyeontheparticipants.Apparently,Stefanoisintwodifferentplacesatthesametime:inthecavewithSibillaandatthevilla,withanakedDianaseeminglyinahypnotictrance,dancingwiththeinvitedinturn,regardlessofhim.Themysteriousbikerarrives,andturnsouttobeawomanwithaskullmask:shestartsdancingtoo–atribal,primitivedance–andallthoseshepassesbydropdowndead,untilsheandDianaaretheonlyonesleftintheroom.DianagetsmadatStefano–sheuttersthesamewordsasthesuicidalwomanatthefilm’sbeginning–andfallsoutofawindow.StefanoisleftalonewithAngela:itturnsoutthatsheandSibillaareoneandthesame,apowerfulwitchwhoabsorbsherlovers’energyinordertoreincarnateintoanewbody.Stefanoconfrontsandapparentlydestroysthembybreakingthesalon’shugemirror. Hethensuddenlyfindshimselfbackatthehotel.ThewomanwhohascommittedsuicideisrevealedtobeDiana.Amongthecrowd,StefanoglimpsesSibillaandAlphonse,staringathim.Thiscircular,enigmaticendingisapowerful,absurdistcoup-de-theatrethatsomehowrecallstheworkofDavidLynchinthewayitshattersboththefilm’snarrativeandtheaudience’sperception.AsSibillarepeatedlysays,reasonmustbeleftasideinordertounderstandevents("Getridofthebrain.That’swhatpreventsyoutoseethecosmicdanceweareplaying"),whilethroughoutthemovieStefanoistoldthatheisnotfree,thateverythingwaspredestinedsincethebeginning. BlueMoviewasastark,grimandmatteroffactviewoncontemporaryworld;BlowJob,ontheotherhand,ismetaphysicalandelusive,evenescapist.It’sasifCavallonelostinterestintheeverydayworldandconcentratedonhisownspiritualside:thefilmisfilledwithstrikingliteraryreferencesthatvaryfromCarlosCastaneda’swritingstoAldousHuxley’sessayondrugs,"TheDoorsofPerception".AsCavallonestated,"thewholefilmwasfocusedonthepossibilityofescapingfromourownbodies,bymodifyingsensorialperceptionsthroughtheuseofdrugsorself-concentration."Yet,atonepointSibillasays:"Theworldistired,itsendisnear,peoplehavelostthewilloflife…."Nowonderthatthefilm’smaincharactersaredesperatelyvoidinside.Stefanosays:"Ihavemanyairbubblesinmyhead..Manywhiteairbubbles." BlowJobisafascinatingoddity:puzzling,scaring,evendarklycomicalattimes.AsinBlueMovie,absurdoff-screenvoicesareusedasacommentaryandacounterparttothecharacters’deadpanbehaviour:attheracetrack,forinstance,anannoyingannouncerkeepsrepeatingthataboygotlostandiswaitingforhismother:soon,itwillbeStefanoandDiana’sturntogetlost;there’sevenroomforonetrulygrimsightgaginthefinalsceneasacoppicksupDiana’soffalsfromthepavementwithhisbarehandsandputstheminaplasticbag,whileindifferentlytalkingtoStefano. Despiteitstechnicalfaults,continuityerrorsandmiserablebudget,BlowJobistechnicallymoreaccomplishedthanBlueMovieandisperhapsthefullexpressionofthedirector’smysticalandesotericinterests.Butthefilmicimageryisalsoextremelysharp,echoingJeanCocteau’sOrphée(1950)withtherecurringcharacteroftheskull/biker,andBuñuel’sCetObscureobjectdudesir(1977)withthedualappearenceofthewitch.Theresultisoneofthedirectorsbest.
